One that truly loved me.

But then my most inner fear

Came out,

I began to pout.

My friend asked what was wrong,

And I lied and said I heard a song.

It was sad, as someone died.

She said that wasn’t it and asked the truth,

So I told her, about my sister Ruth.

She suddenly flicked on the TV,

To let me see.

It was true;

it was on the news.

I was in pain,

I became insane!

But I was gone, and out of sight,

It was dark and cold that night.

My family was locked inside,

I tried to come home!

I really tried!

But it was too late.

The fire took the trait.

The house began to smoke,

While I opened a coke.

I was at my friends,

Safe and sound.

When destiny became bound.

A fire came,

And I wasn’t to blame!

When the sirens came,

It began to rain.

It finally struck me,

And I began to see.

I ran down the street,

But I tripped by my feet.

I saw the fire,

And I called the truth a liar.

They would be ok,

They would say,

When I went to them,

I asked a cop named Tim.

He said don’t worry,

I told them to hurry.

They were all I had,

Now I am sad.

What will I do?

I had no clue!

Then one cop came to me,

As something began to burn:

It was a tree.

As I wanted to cry,

They said they would try…

But it was all gone,

And I was not fond.

My family was dead, all but thy.

And I really started to cry,

The fire started to crackle,

The demon started to cackle.

I was all-alone.

As I began to look at a phone.

I ran to it,

And began to sit,

As I dialed to someone,

Didn’t care who,

It was all-true.

It wasn’t a nightmare,

And Not a dream,

Which I wished it would seem.

Now I am alone,

My voice had a different tone.

I told the story of the dreadful night,

To all the children who were in sight.

They were all like me,

As I began to see.

I am not alone no more,

And I am not sore.

I will wait,

Till the day I can see my family.

And the will wait till they can finally see me.

I can’t wait till the day may come,

As I dream of it, why looking for the sum.

I am now in math,

Waiting for the path.

Good bye my friend,

My heart is now mend.

As I lay down in this bed,

The monitor beeping,

As a light came and said:

They await you,

So come now it’s true.

I nodded peacefully,

As I began to see,

I was leaving earth where I will lie,

To see other people die.

I am now with my family,

Where I am happy.

My life was fun,

But it had only begun.

As I take a step,

Which I had kept,

Home at last,

Alas!
