Array ( [sid] => 67068 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Bridges [time] => 2004-10-12 01:53:46 [hometext] => Sometimes, you know people for long, and yet don't really know them. And sometimes, when two complex people meet, it takes time to build bridges. [bodytext] => Questions, puzzles,
and a million mysteries,
all come together
every time we meet.

And what is said
is not the spoken.
The shadows rise
the lights fall deep.

If smiles could speak
they would tell me
what you really mean
beyond all your words.

If silences could sing
you would really listen…
the music waiting with roses,
deep in the sleeping buds.

Every heart has it’s song,
yours and mine are so different.
The tunes don’t always merge,
the words don’t always rhyme.

But, if songs had spirits,
our songs would be friends.
The kind that have a bond
that remains through all of time.

I could give you a map,
showing how to find me.
But bridges are built on the
rocks of searching and finding.

And the ones that are strongest
are the ones that take time…
So long, I’ll meet you there, over
the blue waters and the wind.

I like this, it reminds me of a friend I haven't spoke to in a while, perhaps I should contact him...
