scrubbed and kept clean too,
The blankets and the mattress,
No security for you.

The therapy, the emptiness.
The sadness and the sorrow,
The hope that’s in those patients eyes,
Will it be there tomorrow?

The screams that fill the night-lit halls,
The cries that break the calm,
The restraints that hold you to your post,
Are wrapped around your arm.

The doctors, and the nurses,
The needles and the pills,
The humour in the orderlies eyes,
Oh ***** those doctors bills.

Hold her still, don’t let her go,
We need to calm her down,
The needle sticks into your arm,
And in emptiness you drown.

When your going home? You’ll never know,
Your doctor only chuckles,
And around your body it’s secured,
All tight with belts and buckles.

The room is still, the light is bright,
You can’t hear yourself above the din,
Of raucous laughs, and painful screams,
Part of the loony bin.

Your family, they deserted you,
They never come and see,
The pain that you are going through,
To let your mind be free.

Inside your mind you tell yourself,
That this cannot go on,
But nobody comes and stops it,
Or thinks your treated wrong.

Lying in this quiet,
Your breathing soft and low,
You tell yourself that you’ll survive,
No matter where you go.

I've been there..and I don't know if I've survived or not. I'm here..very good write. I don't know who had the more pain; me or my family..they saw it whether they were they were there or not. And about the bills? Once I wrote back, "You do realize you're trying to get money from a crazy person don't you? Who's crazier here???"
rotaflmao... They were billing me the 20% I didn't have to pay..F----rs!!!
