Array ( [sid] => 66863 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Waiting For My Moment [time] => 2004-10-10 16:33:08 [hometext] => I wrote this poem traveling down the highway looking at the peoples faces as I passed by them. its like they were waiting for their moments? [bodytext] => We live our lives day by day,and the years go passing by. the people we meet, the places we travel the obstacles we
defeat every day are only there for a moment then it slowly fades away. We try to hold on to our best moments with a picture,or we store it in the depths of our minds. but pictures fade and your mind slips away and the memory once
cherished is now gone. We often try to keep it alive by sharing that moment with a friend, and hoping that they'll keep
it alive when they repeat it again. You see in this world you live your life in waiting on those special moments,a
memory that longly lives way after you have gone. and thats the moment in your life thats worth waiting on. That
special moment that forever lives on and on and on........... Deep and profound.
Very well-expressed.

I liked what you are talking about...people waiting for their moments.

I guess thats true in some way for each of us...at some points in life. But it's the waiting that makes the moment so precious, when it finally comes.

hey i really like this poem. it seems to me that everything in the poem is very personal to you and you know what. it seems to personal to me too. god.

isn't it true that we get up every morning with our tired souls and hurting hearts just to get thru the day hoping that today that special moment we've been waiting for will come?
