Heaven Bound

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Thursday, 14th November 2002 @ 07:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

I thought I saw an angel
soaring upwards in the sky,
The sight was so enchanting it surely made me cry,
Could this have been my mother?
That I had known to love,
Heading home to be with God,
The heavenly home above,
I cried with joy just knowing,
How happy she must be,
To be in the arms of our savior,
leaving the whoes of life & being set free,
There was a glow about her,
and someone by her side,
I know it was our savior acting as her guide,
I know he'd not forsake her,
for she surely loved the Lord,
Him guiding you to heaven,
Is my mothers reward,
I thank God for loaning her to us ,
If even for a while,
the joys she gave us all,
will always make me smile,
Could this all have been a dream,
I don't really know,
I know I wouldnt wish her back,
For she suffered so,
our family is still in mourning,
It takes time to heal the pain,
our circle has been broken,
will it ever close again?
I hope God has a sense of humor,
and a lot of room up there,
Because when we all get to heaven,
we will let him know where here,
For we will have a reunion for all,
you cant seperate us dear Lord,
You may just rent a hall!
