Array ( [sid] => 66741 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Meaning Of Life [time] => 2004-10-09 17:58:36 [hometext] => Inspired by my high school senior english teacher Mr. Albertson of Forsyth High School [bodytext] => Life is a tale told by an idiot or fool
Probably someone who used to skip school
Playing the day away without any cares
Running around like life is full of fairs
Meant for playing and laughing and wasting away
All our time and our freedome every day

I know that life is much more than this
What life is about can be found in a kiss
Or a laugh or embrace or even a look
Or the wonderful words you find in a book

It can be found in a friend or in a lover
Outside in the open never hidden or covered
It's positive and hopeful and unashamed
It's meant not to hide or by others be framed
It's beautiful and happy and all that you need
It cannot be chained by anger or greed

It can be shared if it's wanted, denied if it's not
It cannot be touched, it's neither cold nor hot
I've found what life is I'll tell you it's true
If you want to know, I'll share it with you
Life is love, to love and be loved in return
This is something it took a lifetime to learn
Now that I've learned it I'll learn how to share
So that others will learn if they really care [comments] => 2 [counter] => 143 [topic] => 19 [informant] => Dreamer_Of_Death [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

Oddly enough the Bible says the same thing. So I guess that is somthing we can all agree on.

This is another amazing poem, your talent is envied by all.
