Array ( [sid] => 66556 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Lost In A Crowd [time] => 2004-10-08 01:09:21 [hometext] => This poem is about my dream guy. and me. Thanks for reading! [bodytext] => …There he is, making his way through a huge crowd, staring at the ground. His hair is brown, to his shoulders and the bottom flips out. He’s got on dirty black chucks that match the shirt he’s not wearing perfect. His khaki shorts are a little dirty, but it adds characteristic. He looks like the conservative type, he doesn’t dance only because its not punk rock. He has a past that he totes around with him, and his parents don’t agree with the things he does. They don’t understand his music, and they don’t know why he has long hair. He doesn’t care what people think. Girls like him, but he doesn’t want any of them. He has a lot of friends; all they know of each other is a skateboard. They try not to get too personal. He’s the guy sitting in the back of the class room, with a skateboard at his foot, drawing on a raggedy notebook and when the teacher asks for his homework, he’s says “I didn’t do it because of the face staring back at me on the paper”…. I’ll probably never meet him, but he’s there…

There she is, staring at him as he makes his way out of the crowd. Her hair is dirty blonde, short and spikey. She’s wearing corduroy pants and a white tank top, as the sweat drips off her body. He doesn’t notice her staring, and if he did he probably wouldn’t care. She looks like she’s content with life, when it really just eats her alive. Her parents could careless, and she only has a few friends that matter. She can’t be figured out. Boys want her, but they don’t have what she wants. Not many girls like her, only because they cant be like her. She’s confused, about everything, especially life. She’s the girl sitting Indian style in her desk, daydreaming of happiness, and when the teacher asks, “you need to stop daydreaming” she says “that’s life right”? She’s out there, but then again where…
