" Failed Mission "

The Space Shuttle crew lifted off on 1-16
Their mission was necessary know what I mean
The big bird left earth headed for heaven
The cargo was huge with a crew of seven

As they entered space the wing was hit
And they don't know if it left a dent
They carried on the journey of this mission
Docked and stocked our space station

They even completed many experiments
Not even thinking about those possible dents
They received permission from NASA officials
Your mission is done and was very beneficial

As the shuttle descended down from the sky
Could not believe what many saw in their eye
The fire and debris over Texas 39 miles high
Many people now ask, why did they have to die!!!!!
