I believe that we become angles in the sky,
Sit upon clouds looking down on loved ones,
Watching them in the light of the summer sun.

We watch over them when they go to sleep,
Hold their shaking hands when they weep,
But they do not feel us in our angelic form,
All they can feel is a presence that’s so warm.

We long to hold onto the ones that we love,
Float into them like a mist from above,
Tell them that everything will be alright,
Whisper sweet nothings into their ear late at night.

Their tears fall as they miss us so much,
We suffer pain as they can not feel our touch,
At night they hold onto their pillows wishing,
That it was us they were hugging & kissing.

Love doesn’t suffer any sort of death,
It lives inside our soul as we take our last breath,
Heart has stopped but true love carries on,
Forever in lovers tears or laughter it sings a song.

This is cool. I like your concept. It is pretty close to the picture I have in my mind. Great delivery here, Krissy.

Hugs,
Rita

What you think will happen after we die is totally different from what I think will happen then, I think we all are going to be judged for what we did while we were alive, and all the things we did will be put on a balance if the good exceeded the bad then we go to heaven and if the bad ecxeeded the good then we go to hell, and wherever we go either Heaven or Hell we stay there as a punishment or a reward for what we did when we were alive.

This is so sweet, so gentle, so hopeful, it brought a big lump in my throat. Girl, you know how to move people. A truly wonderful write.

I like this piece although I have a very different view of what happens I take an affinity to this because there are loved one who have impacted my life so much that a part of them stays with me.
