[hometext] => This is not actually true. Which gives the piece more depth. It just came to me so I wrote it.
[bodytext] => You came to me as if it were a dream. You made it clear that I was the one you wanted! And, that no one would have to know. You crept behind the the bed and in the shadow of the darkness you pulled out a gun; "BOOM!" I fell to the ground. The last words I heard you say was: "If it were possible, I would love you and never show you to the world. But you denied me the one thing I ever wanted. Now, you must pay... in death!" After that it is just a blur. I had a lapse in time from when it happened until now. The doctors tell me I have been in a coma for two months. They thought I would never wake up. I remember feeling like I was dying... I remember feeling like I was floating on air, seeing snapshots of my life, and images of people and events in my life of things that could only be described as my future if I hadn't "died". Everything seemed to be so real. But it was as if I was missing out on something. Now, that I'm awake and alive I am trying to put back the pieces of my life. The cops came to my hospital room tonight asking me questions about "Lara" (the shooter). I told them she was my girlfriend at one time. I loved her with all my heart, and would do anything for her. But we broke up for a variety of reasons and she became obsessed. The calls, the visits, idle threats until that one day it all ended with a "BOOM"! Lara was later convicted for attempted murder and sent to "Sweet Serinities" mental institution for a minium of three years or until the proper treatment has been given. I lay here thankful for my life, depressed over love lost, and be strong for each coming day!
