Array ( [sid] => 66378 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Life [time] => 2004-10-06 19:16:40 [hometext] => I really really don't know... I think this has something to do with my Velvet Goldmine inspired dream I had last night. I'm a freak. [bodytext] => Tear stained kisses
And bloody screams.
Cigarette soaked clothes
And alcohol covered sheets.

My life seen through the eyes of another
Would look something like that.
With added pain and heartfelt apologies
Spoken in soft silken words.

Unknown people lying by my side
With white powder on their backs.
Drunken lies whispered in the night
And cocaine induces kisses on their necks.

My life through the eyes of another
Would look something like that.
They'd cry for me and pray for me
And try to help me through my pain.

Strung out mornings and awkward silences.
Unkissed lips and unloved hearts.
Lost clothing belonging to lost people,
And the same white powder from their backs coats my floor.

My life through the eyes of another
Would look something like that.
They scream, yell, and hug me tight.
Try to save me from my heartache of a life.

My life was never seen like this through my eyes.
White powder an unknown people
Never seemed to be too bad.
But my eyes are not yours things are seen differently.

Don't try to save me.
Don't try to bring me back.
I'm far gone and not coming back.
But don't judge my life; it's the way I live.

Never wanted more
Never wanted less
Then this fame,
Then these tear stained kisses.
