In life's magnificent garden
A great artist's work is displayed
The brush strokes of His masterpiece
Is too beautiful to behold

The bright skies painted all colors of blue
With white clouds drifting or peeking through
Majestic mountains, many capped with snow
Rivers, lakes and oceans nestled below

Green grass, various types of shrubs and trees
Polished and set off with the morning dew
Combine with the many plants and flowers
All painted with a different hues

Animals and creatures both big and small
Are viewed as they run, leap or even crawl
But the loveliest features He bestowed
Are His hidden treasures listed below

Angels hovering like bees nearby
Precious jewels that peek through
Gorgeous flower petals beginning to unfold
A cultured pearl hidden from the eye

Last, but not least, humans He creates
Men, women and children alike
In all different colors and shapes
These completes this picture that He paints

Life is the name of His Masterpiece
God our Father is the great artist
Who painted a picture so lively and real
Of a universe full of serenity and peace

I think this poem is wonderful. It really does what I think poetry should do. Which is make you feel like you are drifting off into the poem itself. In this case where beauty & serenity is reaching out to the reader and drawing them in. I felt very at peace and at wonder as I read it several times. Again,I think this poem is wonderful. Keep up the great work!!!!!!
Tracey :)
