Much like a candle married to a flame
And now I'm slicing my wrists to make it die
Red is the color of passion, which is leaving my veins
Beauty truly is a curse unto this world
As you are to me, my dear
But you are still my blessing in disguise
Oh, sweet lover, how blind you are!
To be nothing but a photograph of your past...
When will your heart belong to me again?
Or was it really ever mine?
So many questions, not enough answers
Too many lies, not enough truths...
Back and forth, up and down
It's tying my stomach up in knots
It seems that all you seek from me
Is pleasure which I can not give
I'm boring... not good enough... dull
There goes the last drops of red
I'm glad I could so well quench your thirst... we have the power to control the people we let into our lives. shutting the door on them and their words is simple to do, but many dont for their own reasons.
