staring at the ceiling
You left my light on
Here I am once again
sullen subdued cold
Empty
you left me here
with no regard
take me and then turn your back
nevermind me
barely breathing
paralyzed
All senses void
And Empty
Sweet lover where have you gone?
Out of body
Looking down on yourself
Trying your best not to feel
but you know you do.
No room for love
No desire to give
So you take all you can.
I’m not human to you
Only a rag doll
A hand-painted smile
Button eyes
No heart and soul
Only stuffing.
Empty
No longer will I be your doll
You’ve thrown me around,
Stepped on me,
Hurt me for the last time.
I’m not a play toy
But someone who lives and feels
Loves and loses
Cries and laughs
Sleeps and dreams
Wonders and becomes
Not Empty.

Lying in silence
staring at the ceiling
You left my light on
Here I am once again
sullen subdued cold
Empty
you left me here
with no regard
take me and then turn your back
nevermind me

A very tender poem, showing opening your soul showing the wounded tears, revealing the true way you feel, written with such tender emotion, beautifully composed, and I do hope you find the one true love for you one day soon.

Good poem, and well written too, I really liked the two lines that says "Looking down on yourself, Trying your best not to feel", powerfull words, Good effort and keep it up.
