~~~
Once again I feel like I’m behind
Things to be done boggles my mind
Not enough hours in a day
Not enough daylight to make enough hay
Work seems like an endless day of catch-up
Overfull, always seems to be my cup
My eyes hurt from the computer glare
Yet my butt is always stuck to this chair
My phone is ringing off the wall
Sometimes I feel like I could bawl
Somebody take me away
Let me be someone else for a day
Gone would be my weary and tired feet
Gone would be my aching back against my seat
Free would be my mind of stressful thoughts
Free from my eyes the blinding dots
Wonderful would be the world if there could be
An escape for people just like me
