Of a woman who came from Hell
To experience life here on earth
She was sent straight from birth

Up she grew into a big family
Played hard as a small child, did she
Mother died, then father too
No, don’t think I’m telling of you.

As a teenager she ran away from home
And thought she’d gone to a blissful Dome
Never knew that what she had found
Was another “Furnace” only above the ground.

A young woman she quickly became
Always fighting to stay in the game
Torment and thunder, to them she was a friend
Never justifying the means by the end.

She stopped one day and suddenly realized
That she was never gonna win that prize
Never to see the better side of life
Forever destined as a spouse to Strife.

That night she got into her bathroom
And decided to rid herself of the gloom
Took with her a car battery cell
Turned the water on and went straight back to Hell.

very interesting poem, especially the ending. Very well written.

There's something nagging at me though. A sort of emptiness, i cant really describe. I think its because you say how awful her life is, without actually describing it.
