sometimes you have to loose it
all before you find your way,
as us all, i have seen many things
all the experience life brings,
i've known great loss and seen pink sunsetts
i've started over from nothing again,
i have traveled afar and home once more
sitting, delving memories as i look out my door,
i write into the universe when i pen
thinking of the lucid past and when,
once my heart held a smile so warm
till life crushed it; im so insufferably human,
ahhh... what do i want in this life?
truely right this moment i do not know,
safe, warm, prissy dog snoring at my side
i'm pretty content with the way things flow,
were i to die would my words be remembered?
or past along to my future heirs?
these thoughts run through my mind tonight
was my life dark or bright,
did i touch someone and light up their life
did my poetry bring pain or delight?
sometimes you have to loose it all
before you can really feel,
then you find what's real.

sometimes you have to loose it
all before you find your way,

Oh yes my friend, Your writing touches many.
I really admire your strength, girlfriend.
I jus don't think I could handle dealing with the hand u've been delt in life. We all have our croses to bare but u keep going, and going, and going like the energizer bunny.

| Wow, this is very relatable! Really makes you sit back and look at your life and think, so what have I done? What is my life? Where am I now, what will I become? Questions that nag at most people's subconscious I think.. or at least most women's lol. My favourite line: "im so insufferably human" - that says it all :) |
