You don’t deserve it, no, you don’t
And though you think you’ll never find someone
That’s not what I believe

Maybe you can’t see the wonder you are
But I can
And I’m sure someone else will, too
You won’t have a reason to sulk around
For very long
Because someone will stumble upon you

They’ll give you what you’ve never had
Make you smile, make you glad
Make you forget all the hurt you knew
They’ll brighten your nights, liven your days
Love all of you and your wonderful ways
You’ll finally have someone who deserves you

Everyone faces their struggles
Their heartbreaks and their downfalls
But that only means things will get better
Because no one stays down in the ditch
Feeling rejected and small

Someday your face will shine
Like the moon in the sky
Breaking through darkness,
Replacing the lies
And then you will know
What’s it like
To feel whole
And so alive…

They’ll give you what you’ve never had
Make you smile, make you glad
Make you forget all the hurt you knew
They’ll brighten your nights, liven your days
Love all of you and your wonderful ways
You’ll finally have someone who deserves you

Someday your face will shine
Like the moon in the sky
Breaking through darkness,
Replacing the lies
And then you will know
What’s it like
To feel whole
And so alive… [comments] => 2 [counter] => 173 [topic] => 19 [informant] => Schnikes13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )
