Echoing its evil temptation, telling of the passage of the dead.
The razor cuts deep in the shower, blood mingles in with the pain,
Love and hate mix together as one and the emotions swirl down the drain.
When scars itch, feelings repeat, like memories on a record in your mind.
Over and over and over again, unable to find the button to rewind.
Morphine for the cravings as night melts slowly into day

This rainy feeling, storm cloud thoughts thundering through my head,
Echoing its evil temptation, telling of the passage of the dead.
The razor cuts deep in the shower, blood mingles in with the pain,
Love and hate mix together as one and the emotions swirl down the drain.
When scars itch, feelings repeat, like memories on a record in your mind.
Over and over and over again, unable to find the button to rewind.
Morphine for the cravings as night melts slowly into day
The blade tickles my inhibitions and sweeps them all away

A beautiful write, slighly morbid, but with feeling, driving a clear message and picture home, awesome poem.

Firstly, I must thank you for commenting on
my poems. Secondly, I must say this was
bloody awesome and i was left craving for
more. I loved the images of the razor cutting
deep in the shower and taking morphine for
the cravings whether those are cravings for
drugs or for cutting is left up to the reader's
imagination. A wonderfully vivid poem I am off
to read more by you!
