Another flight last eve
And showed to me a sight
That I could not hardly believe

A mountain in my region
Saint Helens is her name
Awoke from slumber yesterday
Attesting to her fame

Years ago she flipped her lid
Causing quite a ruckus
Yesterday she cleared her throat
Spitting ash and steam around us

It was quite a sight to see
With sunlight on the plume
But nothting like the '80s cloud
That fortold of certain doom

She seems to be disgruntled
And still rumbles down inside
Scientist don't think she's done
But haven't warned us yet to hide

Mother Dragon flew me home
My daughter's birthday now awaits
We're headed to a roller rink
With a couple of her mates

I told my daughter Keirra
St Helen's tummy was upset
She said that I should call Bernard
For, Fairies could help she bet

They could make a potion
That could surely help resolve
Or pehaps they could just pour on her
Some yuckie Pepto Bismol

What a sweet write! I feel all warm inside! This is too cute. Happy Birthday to your bundle of joy! I enjoyed this thoroughly, a wonderful story to tell to children of all ages!! Hoping the fairies have a solution for St. Helens' tummy ache!! Many sympathies. A beautiful story, with humour sprinkled deliciously in this piece of perfection! I love it! With your permission, I will begin telling the story of the great Mother Dragon, and the brave man who percieved her fantasy world, to my cousins; they'd love to hear these stories. A fantastical flight through the splendid palace; your creative, beautiful mind. Dearest Scott, send all my love and smiles to your sweet Keirra! May the day of her wondrous birth be celebrated with lots of friends, the love of her family, and everything that is sweet! Happy Birthday to you, Keirra! All my love! Eternally yours,

Votre fleur heureuse de sang

Hello Naz and a big hug to the birthday Child Keirra. The fairies have tried to solve the problems of St Helens for thousand of years When we think that it is settled Mother Earth will have her own way. It is very hot deep in the bowels of the earth and all the gasses that collect and the melted stone that we call Lava must come out. It is Mother Earths way to get some relief. We will be in touch with you later to see if we can solve the problem so that St Helens can have a few years of peace. Love and hugs to Keirra on the special Day bernard.

Naz,

A delightful poem, again with vivid description and imagery. I really like the personal touch and humor at the end.

A very fun read,
Willofree
