I pick it up and fondle the blade
The sharpness
It slices my finger as I play on its edge
I lick up the blood
The pain brings me to my own world
An eptieness I only feel with the bitter blade on soft flesh.
The scars show me my world
To others it shows my pleasure of pain, my insanity
I slice my burning flesh
I bite my lip in pleasure
Suddenly I am snapped back to reality
The feeling of pain is gone and is replaced by lonelieness and deceat
Traped in a world of hatred

I pictued you through this poem, I want to run into the room and tell you that you dont have to do this and give you a hug and say I care. I am not the only one that does. I know of a God that does. call upon him, he will be there for you. maybe you dont want to. ok... that is ok. if you ever change your mind remember ok... as for the poem. I like a poem that I can read and understand it. don't have to ponder and ponder. your poem was really easy to read, I like your style. Glad your able to write down your feelings. it helps... take care . ever need to talk.. write me..sandy

I can relate so much. I am going to start crying, your words affected me that much. I know how it feels with the razor blades call. It's like you don't want to stop or stall. It puts you in a trance one you can't shake, until you find it inside to truly wake. great job really, your poems are great.

blessed be
christina
