Where the intertwoven songs of angels,
Coalesce into a quiet hymn of love,
Then grows into a roar of emotion,
Captured in the tapestry of darkness.

Tempests rage in the wake of this tranquility,
And pain frolics happily on the dismal clouds,
Of shaking hearts left to weather the storm,
With weakened will and yielding innocence.

Through the midst of this misery comes longing,
Which bludegeons the sorrowful soul,
And careens the meek omnipotence,
Of the passionately afflicted.

Travail and lamentation follow all of these,
Where blood cascades like waterfalls,
Onto sterile floors in white rooms,
Left cold and lifeless by the hands of time.

Finally is the sadness of silence,
And again the longing,
After all has ended,
The longing remains,
Bold and replenished,
Feeding from the carcass of emptiness.

Then the silence breaks,
All is wonderful,
Evil memories drown in the ecstasy of the moment,
When the power of speech slays the fading misery,
And one word binds the darkness in the longing mind,
Where from the small mouth of the whispering night,
The word MOMMY heals the tired heart.
