To be touched by an angel
Would it be different from a human touch?
Would I know it when I feel it?
I used to think about it very much.

I recently found the answers
To those questions asked above
I felt the touch of an angel
In my unborn baby’s love

The angel moved inside me
Caused my nights to seem very tough
He filled me up so abundantly
Sometimes made my morning rough

He moved, he kicked, it hurt so much
Yet all the while I smiled
For I knew that inside of me
Was an angel of a child.

Never again would I ask
The questions I did before
Cause what I felt for those nine months
Was the touch of an angel for sure.
