You dont feel up for anything
Watch Oprah on TV
While running the treadmil
You can run all you want
But you'll never get anywhere

Stares into the mirror
Maybe if you look harder
You'll find everything wrong
And starve yourself another day
A handful of grapes, a bite of apple
Never getting any better to your eyes

Squeezed into your jeans
He doesnt look at you
You're just another girl he could have
If he wanted
Your eyes are dull
His are more beautiful than you'll ever be

Failing that class
You cant concentrate
Too much on your mind
You cant even remember what you did
A day before
But its probably better that way

Woke up late
You cried yourself to sleep
Pillow stained with blood from your wrists
And the runny mascara stains
That smear your face
Dark and empty, you get up
Rise from the pain you fill yourself with

Another day, another hell
One more dent in your heart
Yours minds in knots
Eyes filled with rain
Whisper goodbyes to your old self
And leave life behind
You wouldnt stay
For all the love in the world

Sadly beautiful, with heart wrenching emotion. I can feel the pain dripping from this poem. Disturbing, painful and wonderful. Very nice write.

Sounds like someone was going through alot of painful emotions. We have all been there, starving ourselves for satisfaction of others. It's not worth it in the end. Good write, I could feel the emotions through your powerful words.
