I remember it vividly
there were definatly moths
flapping around in the dark timidly

tossing and turning
feeling hot
I must have drifted in a deep sleep
and later started snoring a lot

the reason is clear
because I woke up struggling
with something in my throat
I could not release it tugging

I sprinted to the kitchen
dry reaching at that
swallowing heaps and heaps of water
I didn't know how to react

For days after my throat was all sore
what was it
a moth or a spider
hope not it could have bit

not long after
I heard on talk back radio
everyone swallows 4 spiders in their lives
if that was a moth I swallowed how would a spider go?

Sick isn't somthing that comes easy to me from reading poems, although I think I d prefer a less harsh remedy for snoring though, I dont like spiders, yet never thought of them as something for the menu :D
Primo poem, As all your poems are, there is always a story behind them and your wording always brings them to life.
Cheers for sharing another of your master pieces Inoc
