One Day All Your Poems Will Be Happy

Contributed by pixie on Monday, 27th September 2004 @ 01:01:58 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

That is the message that he sent to me,
Promising me that one day I’ll feel free,
I wish that it would happen soon,
I can’t live in this life of doom & gloom.

I long for the sunshine to finally return,
Instead of feeling this terrible burn,
Pangs of loneliness that never eases,
I feel like living is tearing me to pieces.

I want to be strong enough for us both,
But I am in the dust I’m beginning to choke,
Can’t hold up my head any longer,
I am praying that I will feel stronger.

Please if you’re out there please listen,
There is a part of soul & it’s missing,
It has gotten lost in the fog of my illness,
To find it again I am trying my best.

But when I get up again my legs go weak,
I can’t find the voice that allows me to speak,
My insides are torn & hang threadbare,
I really need to feel there’s someone there.

Show me the light & I will follow,
Deep in self pity I am having a wallow,
But I can’t help the way that I feel,
Please show me what is in my head & what is real.

Your writing just gets better and better.
This is very plainspoken but so sincere
and really communicates.
My Best to you, Pixie.

Be patient with yourself.
I know personally these thoughts-n-feeling don't just go away.
Medication from your Dr. can help.
Take it easy on yourself. No one wants to feel that way. I know from experience. He's right one day all your poems will be happy.
God can and will help u thru all this.
Joy commeth in the morning.
Hang in there fiend, your inner peace will come.
luv, huggs, happy,
emy
