Snow Drop

Contributed by Ryoko on Monday, 27th September 2004 @ 11:23:09 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Ploughed under rough water,
Ice planting the ground,
Growing tall in my skull,
White petals deadly revealed.

Book cover of black rims,
details of silver writting,
balance of plans unseen,
a dotted line of blood at my feet.

deceptive nights over shadow,
All the red trails on the floor,
covering your eyes with the same colour,
Only to be blinded by the dawn.

Manipulating the air around me,
forced to shape my obtruse body,
fearless memories reservice,
bringing a sadistic smile to my face.

orange patches stuck to my wall,
a deep hole in my floor,
a faint outline of a body,
i suddenly remember how i died.

photo's drawing my realistic attention,
the burnt corners folded up,
a sudden silver flash appears in the picture,
my insane Snow Drop, dead in the ground
