Array ( [sid] => 65272 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Wishing Upon A Star [time] => 2004-09-26 20:10:57 [hometext] => I went to see my grandmother today. She is getting a little better. Her kidneys are working again, but she is not out of the woods yet. [bodytext] => Star light, star bright
the first star
I see tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
have my wish
answered tonight.

May God hold
my grandmother's hand
and lead her through
the green pastures
of this land.

Keep her safe God
and make her well,
her soul lives
within a fragile shell.

May the Angels
stay at her bedside,
let them be
her loving guide.

I am sad while I'm
wishing upon a star,
I hope you hear me God
be it near or far.

Oh, what a beautiful, touching, loving poem, Cynthia. It's great to hear that she's doing better . . . I hope she continues to improve. She, you, and your family will all stay in my thoughts :).

hugs,
Nora
