I thought I once knew You, but now...
Now I remember all the hurt that You've caused
And not for a second will I ever stop and pause...
Pause my life, all around me just to see how...
How all this could have been if it weren't for You.

I loved You once. I didn't want for You to do
That one thing You've just always got to do.
I gave You my heart, as well, almost my soul.
You ripped my heart to pieces,
And watched the blood flow slowly in your hands.

But now all You see, are all these tiny memories of your past,
In your head, and whenever You pass by our place.
When we were once, happily together,
When I thought for once, we could have made One, at last.
People around You think that You're paranoid.
A freak. A total wreck. That's what You've become,
And all this because of me...

Your friends and family don't want to hear of You nomore,
They do not want to see You anymore.
They don't want You to make their life a total wreck,
As was mine and as was yours.

We could've had a good life together,
But not now, now that You've cut me up with only leaving
That one bit of me You always loved starring
Into.
You loved looking right into my eyes,
And seeing all this ache, all of it burn down right into me.

Every morning, I'd wake up and pray for You.
I can't do so anymore...
But there is one thing I am glad to be able to do,
And that one thing is to spread these wings,
Use them to fly around You,
And know that You're still hurt after what You did.

Know that I will forever be watching You.
Every move You make; every step You take.
I'll be your guardian angel, and watch over You,
Since all You really need right now, is this love to come back.

Though, I will not watch You bleed,
As You did me;
I will instead watch You breathe.
Help You throughout the rest of your years,
Because I am still afraid to have You back into my life
But this time forever.

You Had My Life In Your Hands
