The walls are closing in, drawing nearer terrifying confinement
When will you come back to me?
Come back to me; I am nearing desperation
Come back my darling, kiss away all my resentment

Hands are tightening around my throat, I am becoming short of breath
Fear is facing me, confronting me, starting to throw me out of context
Will you save me?
Save me from a quick, lonely, painless death
Save me, and come with me for an eternity of rest; blessed

The stars are fading, crying meaningless dustmites
My future is disappearing with these red marbles falling from my wrists
The past is shadowing me; blinding lights
I need to fly without falling, held and kissed
For who I am, for who I might be

You write from a very lonely place... a place i
have been at many times. I loved the
rhetorical questions in this it, to me at least,
showed some hope despite the encroaching
sadness. A beautiful poem and this line really
stuck out to me: "My future is disappearing with these red marbles falling from my wrists"

awww this is a great write, i feel they never come back love doesn't really exist in their heart so seek it some where else even tho you loved them so much.. the past like you said is a shadow so are a shadow of pain or a shadow of joy.. Pain can always be held joy goes on with you're life till forever..
