My life is now dark & tastes so bland,
There’s no-one else here but me alone,
Oh how I wish I could just go home.

But my home is so very far away,
I feel like I don’t belong I am now a stray,
In the world that is so harsh & so vast,
A world that hides the ghosts of my past.

I try to find me way back but I am lost,
There is no-one around for me to trust,
Just me alone here with my fears,
I hear the silent screaming ringing in my ears.

This wasteland has now become my home,
Here I live isolated & very alone,
Each day I wake & search for a way out,
I want to scream, but no-one will hear as I shout.

So I wander aimlessly around & around,
Heart’s worn from trailing on the ground,
It lies behind me battered & bruised,
Lay in a daze & feeling quite confused.

I'm amazed that we don't communicate more than we do (or don't in this case) seeing as your poems always describe something I've felt, dealt with, or am feeling. It's almost eerie. Then again, I always find myself saying, "I love the way she put that. I could write about this feeling, but I'd never have thought to put it that way."
I love your poetry.

Lots of love and peace be with you,

Chelsea
