How blessed I am to be,
Caught up in the hands of God!
It's Him I want to see!

I love the Lord, His fire and strength!
I fear Him yet I know,
That His might is why it's clear as day
The mercy and love the cross did show!

Who could hold the Son of God,
With board and nails and thorns?
Perhaps it was the whip, the mockery,
The soldier there that scorns!

I tell you this, my doubting friend,
No man-made tool could hold Him!
Only Love, only mercy, only CHOICE could it be!
For not even death defeats Him!

Joy and jubilee fill my heart!
How blessed I am to be,
Caught up in the hands of God!
It's Him I want to see!
