Hands trembling like the lips of a first kiss,
Mirrored dreams being shattered,
Bringing a lifetime of bad luck.
Drops of rain on the window,
Imitate my tears,
Look at them closer,
They look like little pearls.
That bird perched on the wall,
Do u think it comprehends?
That it’s enclosed in pure evil?
Surrounded by corruption and sin?
The carpet on my bedroom floor,
It’s not completely blameless,
It’s harsh. It can burn your feet,
Like they’re rapid tyres in a dry road…

These tender gashes on my body,
Symbols of frenzy and destruction,
Indications of the Devil,
Subverting God’s creation…

It’s Nas who said the words-
“People fear what they don’t understand,
Hate what they can’t conquer”

I fear myself.
But I’m longing to understand,
I hate this eternal burden,
But that won’t stop my fight…

The rain eventually stops falling,
The tears eventually stop dropping,
The blood eventually stops flowing,
But the soul; It lives forever.

I like the ending to this. Very... inspirational, if that's the right word... ?? O,o Good, nonetheless.
