It wlll create the mood they are in,
If you happen to be,
With a woman or three,
It could lead to a possible sin.

Give them a swig of straight rye,
Makes it terribly easy to lie,
Whisper, "My Dear",
Right in their ear,
With a voice you could sing on Hi-Fi.

Give them a swig from a keg,
Watch the sweet femmes start to brg,
Yourself you must cure,
from being a boor.
And taking advantage of Meg.

Give them a swig of Bordeaux,
Get ready, get set, you should go,
Get you to run,
Or you will have won,
A place in the marriage first row

I know that we think we are smart,
Girls let us, they know in their heart,
If they want to win over,
They let us play Rover,
The end is we seldom depart.

I like a good swig of beer
then I say to the hubby "come here"
We like you to think
we get loose when we drink,
but it's us who will have
the last cheer!

Fortunately when I drink.....I have no Romero
so I usually sink.......but if I did have someone, I can't drink too much without getting sick..........so I'd end up with some kind of a hick.
Somehow I can't be funny Norm, because I know you and Shirley are weathering another big storm again!
So, I'll hold you tightly in my prayers, and pray for no alarms.........and hope you two come through without no harms to your charms!
Great and funny poetry
Loved them

Had one hangover in my lifetime, never again, feels like the flu to me lol. Brilliant poem.. fun.. Raquel Leah

At a christmas party once I drank Gin
I did not feel anythin
So I drank some more
After a quarter of four
I was sick behind that bathroom door
So, no more Gin for me ever again
