Pieces of Yesterday

Broken pieces of
yesterday, painfully
lacerating at my soul
today.
Reminders of
days long past,
viciously cut
as I pass.
So close but yet
so distant
Years and years have gone.
Pieces of
yesterday still seem
to linger on.

Damn, I know those feelings!!! Can't say I enjoyed all of them but some of them, yeah. I have a problem of remembering the good and the bad. Nicely done, Laurabeemster.
