Did you ever love me,

Or was it all just a game?

I know how I felt,

Because I still feel the same.

I loved you the best that I could

And did it right from the start.

Then in just a few words,

You tore my world apart.

I have heard so many rumors,

You did this and you did that.

But I know how small towns are,

And usually rumors are just that.

I have heard so many,

I don’t know what to believe anymore,

So I will just look to the future,

And hope God has something special in store

I have done all I can do,

You know how I feel.

Were we just a joke,

Or were we for real?

Did you ever love me,

Or was it all just a game?

I know how I felt,

Because I still feel the same.

I loved you the best that I could

And did it right from the start.
