Array ( [sid] => 6467 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Waves of Tears and Drops of Salt [time] => 2002-11-09 15:30:00 [hometext] => I wrote this one after writing an essay for English, it isn't one of my best poems but I still like it, it was written also when I wrote all of my poetry to rhyme.

Peace.
Charmaine- Rebekkah Simpson [bodytext] => Waves of tears and drops of salt,
Bitter, sweet and twisted.
Falling down her crimson cheek,
Clear and damp and frosted.

Washes of her memory,
Flood their way back home.
His tender touch, his sweet embrace.
The coping on her own.

His eyes of fire when she steps out of line,
As she drops a plate and it smashes.
The thunder of his booming voice,
As her body falls and crashes.

Her broken hopes, her shattered soul,
In pieces on the floor.
Life, love, heart and mind.
Ruined by one man harsh and cruel.
