[hometext] => I woke up after 3 A.M last night and scribbled this down on a piece of paper
[bodytext] => Spring
I was born alone, half of me already alive As I grew and watched the world unfold I could feel you out there and for you my heart did strive. Trees budded, flowers bloomed and the grass grew I watched the world change as my springtime passed But always with a feeling that somewhere out there was you. Summer My summer arrived, the sun shone high above I walked into the world alone wondering where you were The blue sky filled with cloud, no substitute for your love. As the sun moved across the sky suddenly you were there My heart no longer half but whole, you filled me with joy I found you, the one, the better part of me, part of a love so rare. Autumn I want to watch the seasons change with you my love As the leaves fall from trees and the days grow shorter I want you by my side and offer thanks to the lord above. Your heart is in me and mine in you, it fills my soul To walk down the road of life with you is my wish Watching the world and seasons turn with you is a wondrous goal. Winter I want to share the winter snows with you Your youthful spirit will still shine brightly, strong and clear You'd throw a snowball at me and your aim would still be true. We can have a log cabin on a Swiss mountain retreat Each night we can watch the sun set before returning To our roaring fire where we will still be able to create our own heat.
