even when they don't seem real
but what is that to you?
i played the game inside the song
and you ignored each point i supported.

waiting for the right timing
to get the targets to lining
up to a marquee dewed.
the stage is set gone past reverbs
where i hope you will be able to hear me.

what can i do
to get through to you?
won't you listen to me this time?
what is there to do
to get through to you?
won't you listen to me this time?

there never seems to be purpose
and now it looks to be hopeless
but what is that to you?
i made the point to listen also
and you made a big scene over nothing.

the time builds upon events
nothing seems to make sense
so far yet so few.
first views remain eternally held
yet i hope you will be able to listen.

what can i do
to get through to you?
won't you listen to me this time?
what is there to do
to get through to you?
won't you listen to me this time?

this time...
just this time...
this time...
just this one time...

i'm about ready to get on a train off into nowhere
this indifference will carry me right down that road
i'm about ready to move out of the way in place now
this consistent thought holds me through you know
