Array ( [sid] => 64303 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Web of Choices [time] => 2004-09-19 03:25:01 [hometext] => This poem is about the choices we make, what they mean and how they impact our lives. [bodytext] => I'm entangled in a web of choices,
which path to choose i do not know.
Different people often appear in my web,
some,
blocking the way,
making things harder,
or so it seems.
Maybe they are there for a reason,
maybe we are meant to turn around,
try another path,
or perhaps,
we made the right choice,
and yet,
people don't understand.
Maybe these people are there for good,
to help us to understand,
that not everything in life will be easy,
perhaps,
we must get around these obstacles,
or maybe,
we must learn from our mistakes,
choose another path.
There is also another type of person,
yet,
they don't stop you,
but,
simply care,
this type of person is rare,
but precious.
Often,
the two are confused,
one,
hidden in the other.
Confusion arises,
who can we trust.
Can we take a chance,
risk losing,
or do we try to handle life alone,
without a friend.
Life is filled with choices,
what to choose we do not know,
but,
choose wisely,
believe in your choice with your whole heart,
never regret the choices you make,
for,
you must,
believe that at the time it was right.
So,
make sure your choice is the right one.
We live in a web of choices,
choose with care. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 196 [topic] => 21 [informant] => all4jesus_teen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

I think that you may be trying too hard to write. Like you're putting too many words in. I liked the poem, but it didn't flow, I don't think, as much as the other ones.
Take care,
David
