[hometext] => I've always loved Indian Art. Henri Peter is a new artist, Indian with a contemporary touch. I really enjoy his art, I hope you will too.
[bodytext] =>  "INDIAN LONESOME" Henri Peter's art is painted in brilliant colors. Unconventional, intense emotionalism with feathers He is a self-taught artist partially color-blind. His unique way of painting pulls on our emotions of any kind! His very bold colors act as an exclamation point! His paintings are instantly recognizable from this viewpoint. Rather than speak, some Indians remained silent..... But painting their faces depicted what they were feeling. observers knew in an instant!  This is Henri Peter, the Artist of these splendid pictures. Before I can truly appreciate an Artist's canvas. I need to know about the Artist or observing his paintings seem aimless. His paintings to me are dynamic, sensual, magical feelings. What kind of man can mix all of this emotion in his paintings?  "BROKEN PROMISES!" His quiet reflections of love to his shattering anger of "Promises Broken!" His art makes us think with living feelings and vibrant intensity of action. His marvelous imagination is woven into his every canvas! He is 1/4 Pervian, so could not register with Bureau of Indian Affairs, his goal was painted with bleakness!  "EVERLASTING LOVE" Eventually, his beautiful art became a genuine phenomenon! He was well accepted, his reputation began to broaden. His Swiss father immigrated to Peru, instead of the United States. There he married a woman of French-Inca heritage, Peter was born in 1957, thus his hertiage relates.  "LEGENDS" A restless and rebellious boy, he was sent to school in Switzerland to learn to conform. Never lukewarm, high spirited young man, hard to reform..... During this time his energies channeled into art of great intensity! Some of his early drawings depict his restless and distraught breathless beauty!  "RAVEN" He rarely touched a stencil pad or paint brush after moving to the States in 1983. Then miracleously Henri discovered the Native Americans and their art. To him they were a strong, brave people, and like him....he painted them free! It transformed his own life style, as he saw them as kindred spirits, never to depart! Observing Henri's art, you know he identifies with his subjects because he paints them with his heart!  "THE LAST GOODBYE" I've always chosen to hold dear the Natural Native Canvas' myself. But, I find true, that the more I gaze at Henri's paintings, I feel drawn in not left alone by oneself. His favorite painting for me, has always been one of his greatest creations. It's called "The Phoenix" the eyes are those of Henri's--rebellious, freedom beacons!
