Surrender Bound

Contributed by jaeann on Wednesday, 15th September 2004 @ 09:21:00 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Her body descends into the fiery gates of hell
as her mind stagnates upon neutral
hasn't yet found anyone to ring her bell
and she's well beyond feeling futile.

Her body aches to be possessed
her mind, something too trapped to be free
every one wishes to partake and be quite blessed
but no one has the need to tame all they see.

Her body is left alone for far too long
and her mind is left free to wander
no one's muse or passion, she's been traded for a song
and in her every man puts asunder.

Her body lacks the sustenance to be satiated
while her mind spins on scattered overload
no one's ever so ingratiated
man's bordom never cracked any code.

Her body is bound by chains no one can see
as her mind sears from frustrated pain
no one stays long enough to really set her free
capturing her just long enough for their own gain.

Watch as her body dies from isolation
welcome, for her mind has been there a while
for no one took the time to harness her absolution
but they sure made time to turn down the dial.
