That if our dreams went unfulfilled,
Die, Sadly we surely will...
That if we walked a path, unwilled,
But We Lived.
Perchance if wealth went wasted,
Oh woe! a loved one passed away,
And all the horrors of this world...
Feigning hardship, came along our way,
Still We Lived.
Oh! Think! Life went on as it willed,
Sometimes we led it, and it led us,
We dreamt of the past, Forever gone...
In Vain, wishing it to stay with us,
Nevertheless, We Lived.
Time was cruel at times,
Time was kind at times,
Time was tiring at times,
And Time was restful at times,
Time And Again, We Lived.
Sometimes we heartily laughed,
Sometimes we bitterly cried,
Sometimes we just gave up..
And sometimes ourselves, we tried,
Through It All, We Lived.
So Pine not for unattainable treasures,
Dear, Just be content and carefree,
For what you can't have, you just won't...
Whatever will be... will be.
And come what may except death...We Will Live.

I really like this, it's so true and often we all forget about what really matters. Life is such a precious thing, you don't know what it means until you come close to losing it, or know someone close to you who has.

Great write,

Phildel xxx
