about the love I had
This will be the last verse I write
and why I feel so sad

I was totally in love
and looked forward to each day
To spend some time with the woman I loved
and hear just what she would say

She told me she loved me
over and over again
How she dreamed of holding me
just tell her where and when

I was totally convinced
she felt the way I did
We made eachother feel
like we were once again a kid

We had so much in common
in almost every possible way
You can just imagine how I felt
on that rude awakening day

So life moves on to another chapter
as The Last Word is said
Impossible to know or tell
just where I will be led

Hopefully, and I pray
that life will be good to me
And many days of happiness
in my future I will see [comments] => 5 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Bruce [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

It's hard to see past that pain now.. but time is a wonderful healer. I hope each day gets easier and your future filled with hope and happiness. Very honest and emotional poem.
