I really enjoy thinking and writing about it. Comments appreciated [bodytext] => In the dawn of a mysterious day the ocean awakes.
The sun rises and the waves begin to come ashore more rapidly.
I feel the essence of solitude as no one else is around.
The graceful wind blows into my face.
Spray and mist pour out around me.
Gazing, listening, and watching this indefinete moment.
As my heart beats the waves carry the same beat of steadiness.
Although there is much life around, it is all in silence.
A time for thinking and trying to comprehend what is out there.
So many lives lost to this great mass, yet it is so beautiful.
Foam lining the edges of the waves gives an assurance.
It is all so huge and vast.
The unknown is always what interests us most.
That is why I ponder on the deep blue. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 27 [informant] => sweetheart [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )

Great poem! Very thought provoking... just knowing that we (as individuals) only make a footnote in the grand novel of our planet.

You are not the only one who is mezmorized by the sea. I only wish I could write about it as you do. Wonderful poem. Keep writing....Mike

Excellent write....on a topic very close to my heart. I live just across from the ocean and until recently I took it for granted...both its beauty and its dangers...
Thanks for sharing this..
