Death is a part of life
That comes in due time
Something some fear
With glistening tears
Some have welcomed it
With nothing less
Than open acceptance
Ready for that part to happen
For one chapter to end
And for another to begin
Death is the end of existence

What you made of life
Is how you are remembered
For the rest of time
The regrets will always burn
As you see what you have become
In the eyes of those who didn't understand
As you look down with shame from up above

You died by your own choice
Being left in constant wonder
Thinking of how it could've been
With your idealistic views
That could've become true
But you'll never know
Your life was left undone
And that's how it's remembered
Now and forever

You slipped too far away
To the end of your existence
The chapter has ended
When you acted on impulse
And took your life that day
Forever I will remember
I couldn't save you then
From being hopeless
And ending your existence [comments] => 6 [counter] => 299 [topic] => 39 [informant] => Essentially9 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
