So gullible as to believe our lives were to become one
Our passion detonated our hearts
Walking the path of a lovers journey
As the wind carried the reasons we were so in love
To the oceans where they were dropped-never to be found again
Our love in which we thought was eternal-given to us from God
Was but an ephemeral bliss
Just a single, lonesome droplet in the billions that make up the waters
Just a single breath of a man who has lived 90 something years
Like the sins we all committed today was but a tiny bruise on Jesus' chest
Such a love that could not survive so long, will never compare...
Compare to the love that rest in the man I am destined to
For his name is written in my heart & I in his
Though we haven't digged deep enough
Haven't fought enough, hurt, loved, laughed, or learned enough
To have the privelage of knowing
But crawling from the hole you buried me in
I find the strength, the breath, and the reason
To keep on searching for Him
The One who completes my life's equation:
_______ + God + Me = True Love, Happiness, & Completeness Forever.
