love's warmth

Feel the cold today
Settling in old tired bones
That have ached too long
To hold him
Winter is here
In a million different ways
I feel the seasons change
Within
Heart and soul
The chilled breath of November
Seeking solace neath my own
Oh how I yearn to touch him
So as not to feel this cold
But he has disappeared
Into a thin air
That divides us
And deprives us
Of love's warmth.
