why do i write?
i write out my fears
i write to avoid the
inevitable tears

i write about dreams
about wishes and hopes
i write for the "maybes"
the "yups" and the "nopes"

i write for the days
that slowly pass by
i write for the ways
you tend to make me cry

i write about the tears
that roll down my cheeks
i write about the love
that everyone seeks

im just a little kid
merely guiding this pen
but everyone knows
i cant be a kid again

as much as i wish
i cant go back in time
back when things were easy
and decisions were mine

i didnt have to chose
between wrong and right
but now i do

Why I write
why do i write?
i write out my fears
i write to avoid the
