And the rain starts to fall, and my eyes start to lie
Seeing a figure walking in my room
A moving ghost in the mystic gloom

I've been living alone for long long years
Eating on my agony and drinking from my tears
This banshee appears to be so real
Strange emotions of longing is what I feel

In the coldness of the night this specter spoke
As the words flew from her mouth like a silver smoke
She said something so sweet and full of grace
That overwhelmed me and put a smile on my face

This voice that I knew and loved for so long
Removed all my fears and made me strong
She spoke my name in a heavenly way
That left me speachless with no words to say

She came back to me in a vision so true
She came back to me, but now she flew
From where she came I may never find
I hope she's real, not just a poltergeist from my mind [comments] => 5 [counter] => 175 [topic] => 39 [informant] => Opium [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
